YOU MAY NEVER HAVE TO CUT ACROSS A STREET, DRIVEWAY, OR YARD AGAIN TO REPLACE A LEAKY WATER SERVICE LINE.

CONTRACTORS AND CITY WORK CREWS ARE REPLACING 3/4" AND 1" WATER SERVICES IN RECORD TIME WITH THE CANUS PIPE REPLACEMENT TOOL - NOT TO MENTION THE COST SAVINGS.
ADVANTAGES OF THE CANUS PIPE REPLACEMENT TOOL:

- It's easy to increase or decrease the size of the replacement pipe.
- Can be used to replace copper, poly, or lead pipe.
- Does not damage or disturb other buried lines (such as electrical, telephone or gas).
- Water outage time is significantly reduced over traditional ditching.
- No unsightly or uneven street crossings and pavement repairs.
- Reduces damage to private property.
- Tool is manufactured from high strength stainless steel & is virtually indestructable.
- Removes damaged water service line while simultaneously laying a new pipe.
For poly pipe replacement, the corp. stop at the water main is exposed and the damaged line is disconnected. The cable is fed through the pipe replacement tool and then fed through the damaged line from the meter box side. The new service line is attached to the threaded end of the pipe replacement tool using an appropriate coupler. All slack is removed from the cable and the cable grip is attached to the pulling end of the cable. A backhoe or work truck is attached to the cable grip, and pulls through the new line while simultaneously splitting the old line.
For lead, copper, or galvanized pipe replacement, the pipe should be exposed at both ends of the damaged line. The cable is fed through the pipe replacement tool and then fed through the damaged line from the end that will supply the new pipe. The new service line is attached to the threaded end of the pipe replacement tool using an appropriate coupler. All slack is removed from the cable and the cable grip is attached to the pulling end of the cable. A backhoe or work truck is attached to the cable grip and pulls through the new line while simultaneously pulling out the old line, still intact.
The Canus Pipe Replacement Tool can be purchased as a complete set comprised of the tool, grip, and cable, or each component can be purchased seperately. Standard cable lengths include 50', 75', and 100'. Both Standard & Heavy Duty cable grips are available.
