This joint coating tape is used around tees, joints, ells, valves, flanges, couplings, weld seams and other irregular shapes. #600-40 makes coating joints that have a cathodic protection system clean and easy.
Unlike wax or petrolatum tapes, this product bonds to both the joint surfaces and the plant applied coatings.
